If your hard drive is getting too big due to the call logs, follow these steps to archive the call logs. Please note, phpmyadmin must be installed:
- To archive the current call logs, go to FreePBX and click Reports and you can export the logs either into a PDF file or an Excel file.
- Open phpmyadmin and on the drop down menu to the left, select the "asteriskcdrdb" database. A table "cdr" will appear in the right hand side.
- On the right hand frame select this table "cdr" by ticking the check box.
- There is a drop down box marked "with selected". Change this to "empty"
- Click "go". There will be a confirmation and warning message. Confirm that you want to empty the table, and you will be left with a blank CDR table.
